I have truly changed my life, both mentally and physically

Alana's Story~

Before starting at Tall Trainer, I was broken. I struggled to walk my students to different classes; I would profusely sweat daily; I hated how I looked in pictures. I had no idea what REAL nutrition was.  Ya know how they say people gain the freshman 15?  I gained the freshman 50, then the sophomore 60, etc.  College was bad for me for many reasons.  Dining hall food; lots of adult beverages; late nights.  I started playing women's professional football in college, and was actually told I was the smallest lineman and should put on weight.  And for the 10 years I played, although I was active, I wasn't in shape, fit, or following proper nutrition.  I first started to really try to lose weight in 2013, when I joined Weight Watchers and lost about 50 lbs. But I didn't really know nutrition. I knew how to cheat their system and still lose weight.  I didn't know how to nourish my body correctly.  It stopped working for me, and that weight slowly crept back on.  I tried Beachbody and Shakeology.  But nothing worked.  I was always that person who would reward myself for a workout or weight loss with a treat (and yes, I still love my treats now)!

My journey at Tall Trainer started first with a couple co-workers talking about this great place where they focus on nutrition and helping you take care of your body.  I wasn't ready to buy in.  But then the Thinner to Winner competition came about and a friend convinced me to join her team.  I am competitive (I bet everyone who has worked out with me is smiling and shaking their head right now), so I wanted to win the money, while trying to lose weight.  Needless to say, my team didn't win, and I didn't lose a ton of weight, but I became interested in the boot camp program.  After meeting everyone on staff, I knew I needed to try it out.  Thankfully, it was around Christmas time, and my mom helped me out tremendously by helping me with the cost!

The rest, as they say, is history (or her-story in my case).  I fell in love with the workouts and the people.  I have made so many friends, partially because I've tried out many class times, but mainly because the people at Tall Trainer are just amazing people.  I can't imagine my life without Tall Trainer now.  It's amazing to see what I can do that I couldn't do in my first month (or 3).  I have truly changed my life, both mentally and physically.  There are so many people I am thankful for on this journey, and I know it's not over yet.  Jeremy, Sarah, Andrew, Lori, Christine, and Lynn---I owe you my life.  My best is yet to come!
