Andrew Biernat

Andrew Biernat bio:

In 2012,  I was in the worst shape of my life. I ate at McDonald’s for breakfast and lunch and often took the time to pick the vegetables off of my burgers. I had put on almost sixty pounds since high school and everyday I felt like I was reliving the same nightmare. I was so miserable and unproductive that I was eventually released from my job as a sugary beverage salesman (yuck!).

In my quest to find a new career and reclaim my health,  I shadowed Jeremy for a day at Tall Trainer. The atmosphere transformed the way I looked at work. The positivity and encouragement that I experienced that day told me that this was the career I needed to pursue.

After moving back in with my parents, I got to work learning the fitness industry and getting myself into a healthier spot, mind, body, and soul. I lost forty pounds and decided to try doing a half marathon as a personal challenge. At the end of the race,  I thought to myself: “If I absolutely had to do that again right now, could I?” Unfortunately, my heart and body told me “yes!”

I trained for the whole summer and took on a full marathon that fall. It was tough, but felt great when I was done! I wanted to take on another challenge, but didn’t like how much time the training for distance racing took. So I decided to spend more time in the gym and train up for a bodybuilding competition!!

I followed that same pattern year after year, taking on another major challenge each time. After the bodybuilding competition I got a higher level certification. Then I decided to take on the biggest challenge of my life: marriage! My wife, Samantha, is amazing and is everything I could have hoped for in a wife. It’s mostly me that’s challenging :-P We have a beautiful daughter named Rosabelle that was born on July 26th, 2018. She is a blessing and I’m thankful to see her grow and change each day.

All that to say I have been continually seeking challenges both large and small, to sharpen me into a better leader, husband, father, and trainer. I know that what we have here at Tall Trainer is special, and I’m thankful every day that I get to serve everyone that walks through the doors.

Outside of Tall Trainer:

I love writing and seem to always be in the process of making my next book. My family and I attend Lifespring church in Canandaigua where my wife sings in the worship band and I can often be found on stage doing the announcements. My parents own 100 acres of beautiful forest land in the southern tier of New York and it is the best place on earth. I occasionally binge watch TV shows and keep fancy guppies as pets.
