80% of personal trainers quit in the first year.  After that a 5-7 year career is common.  I've been a trainer for 21 years so I've seen so many FADs (for a day) and gimmicks.  I've aged past being a kid, but I still laugh and have fun.  My wife (Sarah) and I have maintained our summer bodies for several decades now.  She's even cooler than me, if you can imagine!!!
