Who's invited?

Anyone who can show up!  It's open to the whole community.  (under 18 years-old must be accompanied by a parent)


Where do we meet?

We will meet at the lower parking lot.  Try to show up early so we can start on time.  If you show up late make sure you sign-in on both the liability waiver and on the attendance form. 

What about bad weather?

We will still exercise in rain and even cooler weather.  Thunderstorms will cancel class.  Check back on this page for cancellations.  I will also e-mail everyone who has attended previously, if there is a need to cancel. 

What should I bring?

Just you.  You might want a towel and some water also. 

What should I do before class?

First make sure you doctor knows you are starting a fitness routine (they might have some suggestions).  Make sure you eat breakfast and start drinking water.  Go to the bathroom because there are no facilities available at the park.  Besides that, just show up a few minutes early to sign-in and meet me before class starts. 

What will we do?

We will do a lot of different types of exercise.  This is not a class where I yell and try to break you down.  This class is Boot Camp style exercise done in a safe, friendly, and educational way.  We will jog, do push-ups on park benches, crunches, lunges, and even play fitness based games.  It will be a cardiovascular and resistance training workout. 

What are the benefits?

Same benefits as any regular exercise.  It'll trim your belly, strengthen your body, and boost your confidence.

Why are you doing it free?

To show the value and fun of the boot camp program that happens during the week. 

I'm doing it free so I can help as many people as possible.  Some people don't value exercise experts as much as others.  I want to show people just how much benefit you can have on your body and health when you have someone guiding you.  I also want to show Canandaigua that exercise can be fun and exhilarating.  Parks aren't just for kids anymore!!
